Eating Disorder Recovery Maintenance & Support
Recovery doesn’t end when treatment ends
Maintaining the progress you’ve made can require ongoing emotional support, accountability, and space to work through the challenges that arise along the way.
I offer psychotherapy for adults who are already in recovery from an eating disorder and have an established nutrition or medical plan with an appropriate healthcare professional or treatment team.
Who This May Be a Good Fit For
This may be a good fit if you have completed or stepped down from a higher level of eating disorder treatment, are medically stable, and want ongoing psychotherapy to help you protect your recovery and continue building a life beyond the eating disorder.
Therapy may focus on:
Maintenance
Maintaining recovery and reducing the risk of relapse.
Staying accountable to your established recovery goals.
Relapse Prevention
Recognizing triggers and early warning signs.
Managing anxiety, perfectionism, body image concerns, and difficult emotions.
Developing healthier coping strategies and nervous system regulation skills.
Self-advocacy
Exploring underlying patterns related to self-worth, identity, control, or relationships.
Supporting communication and self-advocacy with your healthcare team.
This service is intended to complement—not replace—eating disorder treatment, nutritional counseling, or medical care. When appropriate, I can collaborate with your dietitian, physician, or other treating professionals to support continuity of care.
